Are you aware of The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive?
On the 5th of January 2024 the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:32022L2464) came into force. This new directive expands on and strengthens the rules concerning the social and environmental data that companies have to report on. It also increases the number of large companies and listed SMEs that fall under the requirement to make mandatory reports on this data. These companies will now have to report in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=OJ:L_202302772).
Verifact can help companies to implement and report on plans using our Supplier Compliance System. If you would like to speak to Verifact or to request a demo please contact us.
